Anxiety and feeling stressed during life transitions are common reactions to change. This is particularly true if what happens is unforeseen or seems mostly beyond our control. This workshop will discuss anxiety and stress and explore topics such as:
How mental health is affected by change
The telltale indications and manifestations of anxiousness
Coping mechanisms for anxiety and stress management
Resilience/ bouncing back in the face of life's changes
Finding guidance through change with the help of counselling and other support
The workshop facilitator, Kathlyn, is finishing her Master of Arts in Counselling Psychology. She has a bachelor's degree in child and youth care and an associate degree in social work, and has worked in numerous communities over the years. She has extensive experience with facilitating workshops on a variety of mental health topics.
